International Students

Goucher students all share a global perspective. Many of them come to us because 100% of students study abroad, so you will be surrounded by students who are curious about other cultures. We are constantly striving to build a campus community that reflects the perspectives of people from all over the world.

Here, we focus on student learning. Our faculty members include critically acclaimed writers and nationally recognized scientists, historians, and scholars. They are supportive, but also academically demanding. Our average class size is only 17 students- this ensures you’ll receive personalized attention.

We are a community of approximately 1,500 undergraduates, located on a beautiful 287-acre (116-hectare) campus just north of Baltimore, Maryland. At Goucher, you are not only close to the social, cultural and educational opportunities of Baltimore but we're within easy reach of Washington, D.C. (about an hour) and New York City (about three hours away by train).
