Angelica Daniele '09
Angelica Daniele is a Philadelphia native and Baltimore resident, who earned her Master's of Arts in Arts Administration from Goucher College. She graduated in 2009 from Goucher with her B.A., summa cum laude, in dance and psychology with concentrations in both arts administration and dance therapy. Angelica dances professionally in Baltimore and serves as an administrator for local dance schools and organizations. She additionally serves Dance/USA as the program coordinator for the Institute for Leadership Training. Angelica is the proud author of Performance: The Collective and Introspective (2011), published by WriteLife, LLC. Performance: The Collective and Introspective is a research-based work that explores the psychology of the dance performer, and the mental, physical, and emotional journey the dancer moves through in preparing for and executing a performance. Angelica received the Emerging Voices in Psychology and the Arts award through True Center Publishing, LLC for this work, following completion of her undergraduate degree. Angelica is also the author of The Diary of Good Luck Charm (2012), an autobiographical account of a destructive relationship with a gambling addict which became an opportunity for rebirth and renewal. Angelica continues to write, and hopes to publish her thesis, Mentorship and the Arts: Building Our Leaders of Tomorrow, her Masters thesis on emerging leader opportunities across several arts disciplines in the United States. She was named Baltimore's Best Local Author in 2013 by Baltimore CityPaper. She is grateful for the opportunity to see her writing and accomplishments shared with the world.
