Following the first Admitted Students Day program on Friday, April 4th, Goucher Hillel will be hosting a Shabbaton and overnight visit for admitted students who are interested in learning more about Jewish life at Goucher and in the Baltimore area.  Admitted students and their families are invited to attend Shabbat services at 5:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m.  Students will then meet their overnight host and spend the rest of the evening on campus at Shabbat-friendly social events to get a feel for what makes the residential experience at Goucher distinctive.

On Saturday morning, students and their families have the option of attending Shabbat services with a visiting Rabbinic Fellow at 10:00 a.m.  Our program will conclude with lunch, group study, and conversation from 12:30-2 p.m.  Students and families who wish to stay until Shabbat is over are welcome to do so.  Optional afternoon activities may include board games, a walk in the Goucher woods, or a visit to a neighboring assisted living community.

Please note that in order to participate in this program you must also be registered to attend Admitted Students Day on Friday, April 4.
