Next Steps for International Students

1. If you applied for financial aid, you can track your financial documents on the Financial Aid Student Tracking System. Offers of financial aid are mailed within two weeks after the offer of admission for students whose financial aid applications are complete.

2. Complete the Declaration of Intent and submit your enrollment deposit by credit card or electronic check online now or return them in the envelope enclosed with the offer of admission.

3. Schedule your opportunity to visit campus, check out the Admitted Students Day page to RSVP to the invitation enclosed in your packet or schedule your own personal visit to campus.

4. Visa Status. Enclosed in your offer of admission is information regarding nonimmigrant visa status.

If you are a first time visiting student to the US, you will need to sign the enclosed Form I-20. Please consult the document, Applying for Your Goucher College Visa, which details the steps you need to take in order to acquire your F-1 student visa.

If you are currently in F-1 Visa Status, you will need to complete the Goucher College F-1 Transfer-In Form and return it to us via mail, email, or fax.

If you have any questions, contact either Christopher Wild, the admissions counselor responsible for international student documents or Karen Sykes, the international student advisor responsible for any additional immigration issues that arise and for your initial adjustment to the U.S. and Goucher College as an international student.

5. Stay informed, check in often for the latest news and information. For more information on aspects of life at Goucher, select one of the images on the right.
