Speakers and Programming
The Sarah T. Hughes Center for Field Politics sponsors conferences and speakers series to bring diverse political figures to the campus. Special programs of the center include:
Politician in Residence Program
For this annual program, the center invites a local, regional, or nationally recognized politician to spend a couple of days at Goucher College to talk to students in classes and give a campus lecture.
Woodrow Wilson Scholar Program
The center oversees Goucher College's participation in the Woodrow Wilson Scholar Program, which connects a liberal arts education to the professional world by bringing thoughtful and successful practitioners to college campuses for a week of classes and informal discussions with students and faculty.
