Prof. Marin Pichler awarded a grant from the Research Corporation

Assistant Professor in the Physics Department, Dr. Marin Pichler,  has just been awarded a grant from the Research Corporation in support of his experimental research in atomic and molecular physics of ultracold gases. This Cottrell College Science Award in the amount of $55,718 will support Dr. Pichler's collaborative student/faculty research over next two years. Dr Pichler is building a state-of -the-art research laboratory and will soon, in collaboration with physics student Daniel Barker,  perform first measurements of ultracold polar KCs molecules.
