Italy Programs

Accademia Dell'Arte

Theatre, Dance, and Music students can study performing arts in the Accademia dell'Arte program in the medieval city of Arezzo, Italy in the heart of Tuscany.  The Accademia program provides an artistic and creative environment in which students are encouraged to explore and collaborate in their respective art forms. Students will take classes in Italian language and art philosophy, as well as high-level theatre, music, and dance performance training.  The dance program is offered in the spring semester only and is limited to highly skilled dance majors.

Siena Program

During this semester long program in Siena, Italy, students live with Sienese families, participate in the life of the community, and attend classes taught primarily in English. Students will also take tours to Florence, Rome, and other Italian cities as part of their coursework in order to explore art, architecture, and Italian culture. 

Torino, Italy: International Business, Art and Italian Studies

This program in Torino, Italy offers three diverse academic areas: Art/Architecture, International Business and Italian Studies, and combines academic coursework with practical learning, tours and field trips to create an integrated cultural experience.

Viterbo, Italy: History, Art, Environmental, and Italian Studies

This program in Viterbo, Italy offers four diverse academic areas: History, Art, Environmental and Italian Studies. Students gain firsthand experience of Italian art through participation in course field trips and by visiting the actual works themselves.
