The Hansard Scholars Program offers an outstanding opportunity for students to gain both academic and practical knowledge of the British political system. The program combines a rigorous course of study with an internship for a member of British Parliament. Students take two lecture courses and choose an individual research project. Scholars will stay in student apartments in London's central zone. For more information and course descriptions, please view the Hansard website. Students can study at Hansard for the fall or spring semester, or the summer term. Summer term students will pay fees directly to Hansard. There is an additional surcharge of $1,500 for this program for fall and spring semester.
Eligibility and Prerequisites:
Students must have declared a major and taken prerequisite courses. Students must have completed three semesters in college-level residence. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher to apply.

Summer applications are due in OIS on March 1, 2013 - Fees are paid directly to Hansard.
Please note that both the application and fee are due in the Office of International Studies. All students must attend an advising session at least one week prior to the deadline in the Office of International Studies to obtain an application.
