Global-Local Challenges to Sustainability: The Costa Rican Experience program allows students of all disciplines to collaborate and explore the meanings and implications of "sustainability" while studying Spanish language and culture.  With an emphasis on place-based learning, the program examines not only the theoretical underpinnings of sustainability, but also how these theories play out with real people, organizations, and localities.
