By studying abroad, choosing three-week intensive courses led by Goucher faculty or semester programs suited to their academic plans, Goucher music students gain a global perspective that enhances their course of study. Study-abroad opportunities for music students include Italy: Italian Language and Culture, in which participants experience Italian history, art, music, ceramics, and theater in Sorrento; and Ghana: History, Society, and Culture in West Africa, which explores West Africa's rich and deep cultural traditions.
