One-hundred million people worldwide speak German, and Germany has the largest economy in Western Europe and the third-largest economy in the world. German language skills make a fine complement to majors in business, science, philosophy, and more, whereas Germany has produced some of the world's greatest scientists, philosophers, historians, and thinkers of all time.
