Biography

Sara T. Workeneh, BC-DMT, MA, ADTR, NCC is a registered dance movement therapist and counselor who has been in practice in the Washington/Baltimore area since 1989. She has worked in clinical settings with special populations dealing with chronic psychiatric issues; substance abuse/addictions; trauma-related sexual abuse and incest issues; forensic issues and multicultural adjustment issues and couples counseling. Sara currently works at The Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt Health System in Baltimore. In addition Sara continues to present workshops at local and national conferences including the National Dance Therapy Association and the Friends Conference on Religion and Psychology.
