Modern Guest Artists in Residence: Xan Burley and Alex Springer

Xan Burley and Alex Springer, the husband-and-wife team whose work in choreography, dance, and film comes together in the Median Movement, will be the modern guest artists in residence this semester. Both perform with Doug Varone and Dancers in addition to being active choreographers, teachers, and arts administrators. They will teach modern classes and will choreograph a work for the Goucher Repertory Dance Ensemble Spring Concert on April 11 and 12. Master classes are open to high-intermediate and advanced modern dancers. The class fee is $20. For class schedule call the Dance Department at 410-337-6390.

Meet Burley and Springer at a free, public event at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 28, in Todd Dance Studio. Watch dancers in rehearsal for the upcoming Goucher Repertory Dance Ensemble Concert.
