Lenrow Gallery

The Lenrow Gallery, named in honor of Ruth Shaprio Lenrow '74, opened in the spring of 2011.  The gallery, located on the 4th floor of the Athenaeum next to the Pinkard Community Service and Multicultural Center (room #426), a 35 seat multipurpose room, is dedicated to exhibiting the artwork of Maryland Artists of all abilities and backgrounds.

Sponsored through the Office of Community-Based Learning at Goucher College, the Lenrow Gallery has been creating opportunities for local artists to present their work, offering at least two free public exhibits each school year, as well as a variety of academic and community-based projects.

Featured Exhibits and Artists have included:   Dan Keplinger (King Gimp), Denny Lynch, The Artistry and Advocacy of Ellene 'Brit' Christiansen, "Windows and Mirrors: Reflections on the War in Afghanistan, En mi propia voz alta (In My Own Loud Voice): The Latino Immigrant Voice, Hal Stebbing, Claudia Bernhardt, Vonnie Crist, and Baltimore area artists from Gallagher Services and Earl's Place.
