The international business minor supplements and strengthens other majors by broadening the geographic context of the major and/or by providing greater depth to language and area studies majors by enabling students to understand the business and economic activities occurring within a given region. All international-business students are required to participate in a related international learning experience.
The following courses are required:
- EC 101*
- EC 102*
- BUS 110
- BUS 120
- BUS 210
- BUS 221 or BUS 260 with international topic
- BUS 229

* Students with a low math placement must complete BUS 105 and earn an A or A- in EC 100 before enrolling in EC 101 or EC 102.
Strengthening foreign language skills through conversation, comprehension, reading, and discussion of business courses is also strongly recommended for students pursuing the minor.
