Areas of Scholarly Expertise and Interest
Ms. Andrews' training is in biochemistry and genetics. She previously ran a clinical genetics lab at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. At Goucher, she supervises the first semester Biological Diversity I and second semester Molecular Biology Techniques laboratories. She also oversees the General Biology I and II laboratories for post-baccalaureate premedical students during the first and second semesters. She serves as departmental Safety Officer and has played a major role in the design and implementation of college policies relating to chemical and radionuclide safety.
