Private and Duet Sessions:
Private sessions offer an opportunity to work one on one with an instructor, while duet lessons provide an opportunity to work out with a partner. Both private and duet sessions are designed specifically for the client(s), based on his/her strengths, weaknesses, and injury history and fitness goals. These sessions utilize all of Joseph Pilates' unique apparatus and are for the individual who wants to focus on specific aspects of his/her workout. We offer 30 minute or 55 minute private sessions and 55 minute duet sessions, which are by appointment only. To schedule, please call (410) 337-6469.

Level 1 Mat Classes:
Group mat classes focus on the mat sequences developed by Joseph H. Pilates. They are a wonderful introduction to the method and are also a perfect supplement to private instruction. All classes are leveled and advancement to the next level is by instructor’s approval only.

Beginner classes are for all students without prior experience with Authentic Pilates® and serve as an introduction to the exercises and principles of Pilates.

Appropriate knowledge of mat exercises, sequences and Pilates terminology is a prerequisite for mat class advancement. The mat exercises require no special equipment and once learned can be performed anywhere. Group mat classes are not suggested for individuals with serious injuries or health problems.


Level 2 Mat Classes:
Group mat classes focus on the mat sequences developed by Joseph H. Pilates. They are a wonderful introduction to the method and are also a perfect supplement to private instruction. All classes are leveled and advancement to the next level is by instructor’s approval only.

Aging Spine Mat :
Group mat classes focus on the mat sequences developed by Joseph H. Pilates. They are a wonderful introduction to the method and are also a perfect supplement to private instruction. All classes are leveled and advancement to the next level is by instructor's approval only.


The Aging Spine Mat is for beginners to low-intermediate levels that need a slower class to take care of the spine, especially the neck, shoulders, lower back, and pelvis.  The class breaks down the traditional mat exercises into smaller segments so individuals can master the exercises efficiently and without pain.  The class introduces modications for the traditional mat exercises so that individuals can incorporate the modifications as needed in other mat classes.
