The Pilates Center at Goucher College is known as one of the best body-conditioning facilities of its kind in the country. Open to the general public for mat classes as well as private instruction, the Pilates Center assures clients a safe workout with instructors who are certified in Authentic Pilates.®
The Futuro Latino Learning Center (El Centro de Aprendizaje Futuro Latino) offers members of the Baltimore-area Latino community basic computer-literacy and ESL training as well as cultural heritage and play programs for their kids. The Goucher students who staff the center connect with the local Latino community, improving their own conversation skills through real-world conversation in Spanish.
Goucher's summer sports camps in field hockey, soccer, and volleyball offer young athletes exceptional training and conditioning geared to their skill level and utilizing the college's top-flight athletic facilities and fields.
Time Out! Boys' and Girls' Recreational Sports Camp takes a different approach to youth sports: no drills, no special skills, everyone plays. Younger campers receive basic instruction in several sports and have ample time for less structured activities like kickball, dodgeball, and hiking around the beautiful campus.
The Goucher Summer Arts Institute offers serious high school students pre-professional programs in dance and music. The two-week institute providing an exciting opportunity for students to develop their skills and talents and to dive head-first into the world of the performing arts.
