Goucher College Farmers' Market Tomorrow
When: TOMORROW, Thursday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Alumnae/i House Courtyard
Who: Vendors will include:
- Firefly Farms (Bittinger, MD) – artisan cheeses
- Gertrude’s Restaurant (Baltimore, MD) – restaurant serving regional menu, with emphasis on traditional Chesapeake fare
- Gunpowder Bison and Trading Co. (Monkton, MD) – marinades, rubs, and sauces
- Hearn Kirkwood (Hanover, MD) – local produce, asparagus, Swiss chard, golden apples, Fuji apples, dandelion greens, hydroponic lettuce
- Licking Creek Bend Farm (Needmore, PA) – certified-organic produce
- Mingodale Farm (Parkton, MD) – produce, fresh cut flowers, breads, garlic and herbs
- Springfield Farms (Sparks, MD) – free-range eggs, poultry, and meat
- Stone Mill Bakery – artisan baked goods
- Sunnyside Farms – local produce
- Zahradka Farm (Baltimore, MD) – fresh produce
- Student Benjamin Droz will be displaying his hemp seeds and snack business
- Student Jesse Callahan will be promoting her business – salsa producer, biodynamic seedlings, therapeutic massage
