Committee of Visitors at Goucher College

April 02, 2009 |

The Committee of Visitors will be on campus today and tomorrow for the group's annual meeting. The Committee of Visitors is an advisory group whose 50 members serve as advocates for the college by promoting Goucher’s mission, counseling the president and administration, and advancing the development of the college’s resources. Formed in 1999 as a non-governing body of the Goucher College Board of Trustees, the Committee of Visitors draws its membership from a mix of corporate professionals, nonprofit and foundation executives, Goucher alumnae/i and parents, and other individuals committed to the college’s educational mission. While on campus, the Committee of Visitors will meet with administrators, attend panel discussions on college admissions and the current financial crisis, and meet with students who have recently studied abroad. If you have any questions about the Committee of Visitors or the annual meeting, please contact Wendy Belzer Litzke, special assistant to the president and director of government and community relations, at ext. 6042 or wendy.litzke@goucher.edu .
