Information about Email at Goucher
Goucher College provides an email account for all students, faculty, and staff to enhance the college's communication capabilities. Email is an official means of communication for Goucher College. In recognition that certain communications may be time-critical, the campus community is expected to check their official email address on a frequent and consistent basis in order to stay current with college and course communications.
Email for Faculty, Staff and Returning Students
The email account provides access to public folders, a personal calendar for appointments and scheduling, the ability to keep a "to do" list, and other functions.
Email can be accessed through Microsoft Outlook or through a web browser by using Outlook Web Access. If you are a returning student and would like your email switched to the new Google Email and Apps site, please email a request to iwantgmail@goucher.edu.
Email for Freshmen and Transfer Students
Through a partnership between Goucher and Google, new student email accounts will be hosted by Google. These email accounts provide access to Google Talk, Docs, Calendar, and more.

Junk Mail Got you Down?
Can't find that email you've been waiting for all day? Check out your junk box. Each person can access their own junk box to retrieve emails that have been flagged as spam. You can also modify your junk box settings. Individual junk email boxes can be managed from this page: http://spam.goucher.edu. More information regarding Goucher's spam filter can be found here.
