Chemical Hygiene Plan

In order to address safety and liability concerns surrounding the use and storage of hazardous substances on campus, the campus Safety Committee developed, and the President approved, an updated Chemical Hygiene Plan. The plan outlines the various responsibilities of those individuals and departments that work with such substances and lays out various rules applicable to the procurement, distribution, storage and use of such substances. Included are revised procedures relating to hazardous materials spills or accidents as well as strengthened enforcement procedures.
