MAAA News Story

The Master of Arts in Arts Administration (MAAA) is pleased to announce that Todd Hawkins and Crystal Benavides have been nominated to serve on the Emerging Leaders Council.  The Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) is an elected advisory body to Americans for the Arts and assists in developing programs and resources to identify, cultivate, and promote the next generation of arts leaders in America.  

International Arts Policy as part of Arts Administration

To ensure that graduates from Goucher's Master of Arts in Arts Administration (MAAA) program are prepared to work with artists and arts organizations around the world, the program has developed a new course, International Arts Policy (AAD 627).  The course examines arts policies around the world from three primary perspectives--1) politics, 2) economics, and 3) cultural heritage. 

Jonathan Katz and Robert Lynch Join Faculty for Summer/Fall 2011 Semester

The Master of Arts in Arts Administration program is pleased to announce that Robert Lynch, President and CEO of Americans for the Arts, and Jonathan Katz, Chief Executive Officer of the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, have joined the MAAA faculty to teach Public Policy for the Arts (AAD 617) during the Summer/Fall 2011 semester at Goucher.

MAAA Book Reviews

The Master of Arts Program in Arts Administration at Goucher College is pleased to announce that three members of its program published books this spring.  The trio includes an adjunct faculty member, a current student and an alumna.
