The American Studies Program offers a major in American studies. The program’s objective is to promote interdisci- plinary study and understanding of American history and society; American economic and political institutions and the beliefs, values, codes of behavior, expressive arts, myths, and symbols that constitute American culture. | UPDATE: Sarah Bart '12 Competes in "Jeopardy!" College Championship Semi-Finals Goucher College senior Sarah Bart was one of 15 players selected from about 12,000 to compete in the "Jeopardy!" College Championship, which will air as 10 shows February 1-14. Bart will appear again on the February 9 episode (and perhaps others). |
