Announcements, Caps and Gowns

Commencement is a formal ceremony, and it requires a number of formalities - including wearing Commencement regalia (cap, gown, hood, and tassel).   Announcements, regalia,  and other graduation memorabilia may be purchased through the Goucher Bookstore. If you have not already ordered your cap and gown, go to the bookstore and do so immediately.  Any orders placed after Friday, March 26, are not guaranteed to arrive in time for the ceremony.  If you have been measured for a cap and gown, they will be in the bookstore May 17 through 21 for pick-up.

Commencement regalia is yours to keep; do not return it to the bookstore. The Goucher Bookstore is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday; and will be open until 4 p.m. on the day of Commencement.
